Photography
I was fortunate to have a sociology teacher in high school who was also an accomplished photographer. He made sure that there was a darkroom available to students and I learned to process film and print my own black and white photographs. I began with a twin lens reflex camera and hand held light meter. It was thrilling to watch images emerge in the chemical baths after enlarging from my 2”x2” negatives. So much so that I bought an enlarger and began processing film and printing photographs on my own as a teenager.
I now shoot digitally but retain that sense of excitement about photography. My photographs are matted and framed.
Here are examples of black and white and colour photographs.
