Linoprints

Linoprints are a relief print. The relief is the image that has ink rolled onto it after everything else has been carved away. In this case it is a block of artist’s linoleum. It is often taught in public school art classes, which is where I first learned to make linoprints. I just never stopped.

Here are photographs of the process of carving the linoleum block.
